Answers to questions 1-5
I think that the phase “Newspaper of Record” and the “All
the News That’s Fit to Print” means that they report the best stories they can
find. It also could mean that they print the biggest stories that they find and
the most interesting. The benefits that could come from the New York Times
covering the Armenian Genocide and killings it that it probably made it more
public so people would what to help them. It probably also could have helped
the United States to know this so they could end help over there. The Armenians
could have gotten help to what was happening.
The man who invented the word “genocide” was Raphael Lempkin. Have a certain
word to describe something is important because it gives a certain way to
explain it had helps it give a certain definition. It also gives a shorter way explaining
it. The New York Times shy away from using because it probably would spread to
people in the U.S. and then could leak out to India were they would not like and
might become against the U. S. Keller might be able to turn to judges or government
officials because they are able to give authority behind it and they are able
to make a final decision. They are able to debate it out and see what they should
do. This could help say if it were a genocide.

Armenian Genocide iwitness
Hayastan Maghakian Terzian was a
girl during the Armenian Genocide. She
looks like she was thought a lot. She looks kind of sad and a little worn. Some
of her family was deported, but her father, mother, and she were saved by a man
named Consul Davis. He had first gotten his father and to him to the consulate.
She was also taking to the consulate.
Her mother was also able to go because she escaped before being deported. She is
probably feeling a great lost because she lost her sister and other members of
her family. She looks like she I sad and been worn down by all the events that
have happened. She went to different places and finally stops at Rhode Island. During
her time there she probably when throw a time of sadness of the loss of some of
her family members. She probably had to get used to living with just her mother
and father. She probably got a job and had a family. She looks like the
Armenian Genocide left a mark inside her. She looks like she is a little heart
broken and sad.
Edward Bedikian was another person
who survived the Armenian Genocide. He had a friend with him during this time.
They both were thrown in the cellar of a school. She was weak and they took her
because of it. They took the weak and dead people. He locks angry and determined. He also looks
a bit worn to from all the events. After the genocide was over he was probably
released. He probably had to feel the pain of losing her and maybe some guilt
from letting them take her. He also could have a feeling of revenge to the
people who did it. He probably got a job and started a family. He also might
have been determined to keep his family safe. These people look like the genocide
was a terrible thing by hoe they look and how they seem. It is promptly painful
for them to think about it.
